ACT Workshops
Art + Conversation = Transformation
Charlotte Watson Sherman and Jill Littlewood will co-lead workshops to memorialize the unknown number of African-American lives lost to lynching and other acts of racial terrorism. The community will help create an installation composed of thousands of pieces of silk in order to give presence to the enormity of this cruelty; allowing us to understand more about the legacy of race in our country.
Donations to Requiem for 10,000 Souls will support artist fees, supplies for our community installation, ACT workshops, and exhibits.
